ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS

From studying electrical in trade school to becoming a master electrician and holding senior management positions with leading Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), Cory has evolved in the energy industry through many positions, roles, and companies over the last ten years.  In 2021, Cory purchased M&M with a passion, drive, and plan to grow M&M into a leading regional ESCO, bringing M&M to the next level of development and growth.

In just under 24 months, Cory expanded the core M&M team to include some of the industry’s top talent, increased M&M’s addressable markets and service offerings, and has tripled M&M’s revenue.  Cory continues to lead M&M on a hyper-growth path into new markets, services, and an ever-growing team.

With nine years of experience within M&M, Lisa has brushed on almost every department, from Finance, HR, and Marketing to Business Development, Engineering, and Auditing.  She has stood side by side with what she finds most important, her family and team members at M&M.  “Finding a company that feels like a home is rare these days.  I not only receive that energy from the company itself but quite literally with my family.  It’s been a job I’ve learned and grown from, and I am grateful that M&M provides that atmosphere.”

Spending his early career in various roles within M&M Electric – from field operations and project management to running company operations at M&M’s subsidiary Y.E.S. Security Technologies, M&M has held a special place throughout Kevin’s career.

Following these positions with M&M, Kevin ventured off to spearhead multiple startups focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT), smart building controls, and technology space.  Today, Kevin has returned to the M&M fold and now works alongside M&M’s senior sales and program executives on sales strategy, marketing, and technology development efforts.  As a technology advocate, Kevin’s focus is for M&M to continually innovate at all company levels and ensure superior customer success, operational cohesiveness, and broader reach to customers, partners, and industry peers.

Brett is a passionate energy professional dedicated to helping businesses harness the power of utility programs throughout his career.  As an energy consultant, Brett learned the ins and outs of various utility programs, constantly revamping processes and procedures to optimize energy efficiency programs.  Holding leadership positions as a business development manager, Brett focused on driving client success, committing to forging strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative energy solutions for large-scale customers.  Today, Brett oversees M&M’s participation in various utility programs throughout New Jersey, helping customers leverage the Direct Install program through various area utilities, including JCP&L, PSE&G, Atlantic City Electric, and O&R.

Robert (Bobby) is M&M’s latest energy auditor who plays a pivotal role in our mission to drive successful energy efficiency projects for our commercial clients.  Robert’s primary responsibility is to conduct on-site assessments that identify opportunities to upgrade lighting and HVAC equipment while leveraging his in-depth knowledge of utility programs so M&M can secure incentives and rebates, ensuring our customers achieve their sustainability goals while maximizing their financial benefits.  Bobby is a key team player who loves meeting with our customers face-to-face, walking sites with them, and discovering how M&M can best help them with equipment upgrades and utility funding solutions.

Ryan joined the M&M team to assist our finance department, taking on the role of Finance Administrator. In this role, Ryan plays a pivotal part in our mission to provide our commercial clients with all the best financing options for their projects. Ryan’s primary role is to assist in the 0% financing option with NEIF. Ryan’s role also extends to construction operations, ensuring all projects are closed out correctly and timely with our utility partners. Ryan’s property maintenance, management, and HVAC sales background serves him well in this role.  Ryan has a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to ensure we don’t miss a beat with your project.

Sam is an entrepreneur with a talent for identifying opportunities, trends, and emerging technologies with experience and expertise in several markets, including Hi-Tech, Software, Energy Procurement, and the Healthcare space.

Whether for his own company, as a consultant, or as a president of a publicly traded company, Sam has demonstrated a unique ability to develop, build, implement, and manage systems, policies, and procedures for all of an organization’s departments, including sales, marketing, finance and business development.  Sam brings a wealth of knowledge to the M&M team and looks forward to continuing our super-charged growth at scale.
